Benton Blues Club is based at Four Lane Ends Social Club in Newcastle upon Tyne, this is immediately behind the Metro Interchange so perfect for public transport. This venue is wheelchair friendly. Running since April 2009, the club aims to present you with a bill of top Blues acts every couple of months.

Byker Blues Project recently began with an event from some off the region's top Blues acts. The club is based at St Peter's Social Club in Byker on Walker Rd.

Next Byker Blues Project Event - New Brunswick Battle of the Blues Competition

Friday January 27th  Bands 8.00pm-11pm. £3.

Tickets are available from venue or reserve via website below. Six acts battle it out for a place in the London Final with a prize of £1,000 and an all expenses trip for the act to play in Canada.

Three bands, two soloists and a duo will provide a full nights entertainment, doors open 7pm and bands on from 8pm till 11pm, with a late bar.

Come and enjoy a night with a collection of fine musicians, sensible drinks prices, comfortable surroundings and NO BINGO. Sorry the venue isn’t wheelchair friendly.

It’s easy to get to St.Peter’s Social Club it’s just up from St.Peter’s Basin on Newcastle’s famous Quayside and on the routes of The No.2 Quaylink Bus and Stagecoach services 12 and 18.
